Limited Echocardiogram: to look at the heart using an ultrasound probe to assess the heart as a structure. The echocardiogram will evaluate the heart valves and chambers of the heart. It will give us the pump function of the heart as a % of function know as Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction (LVEF). It will identify if there are any major congenital abnormalities (birth defects that went undetected).

Carotid IMT: otherwise known as intima media thickness. It measures the thickness of the layer of the carotid aretery. If it is thicker than normal then this could increase the chance of cardiovascular disease.

VO2 Max: Maximal oxygen consumption reflects the aerobic physical fitness of the individual, and is an important determinant of their endurance capacity during prolonged, sub-maximal exercise. The name is derived from V - volume, O2 - oxygen, max - maximum.
